I Don't Like To Complain, But ...

I often do things I don't like to do. The summer does not officially start till next week, but already it's too hot to talk about how hot it is. And if that isn't enough, we are in the middle of a drought. I can not remember when we had a decent amount of rain.

And because of it, it seems that all of Mother Nature is is out to get me. I have to water constantly to keep my plants alive. The armadillos, skunks, and moles are tearing my yard apart. The deer are eating everything they can. No tree is save from them. They even eat the ornamental trees. I have lost my blueberry crop to the birds. We have never had birds eat our beeries before. The are not making much honey. I'll be lucky to make half of what I did last year, despite the fact that I have been feeding them more sugar syrup than I ever have.

I just want it to rain so that the critters will find somewhere else to eat.

And now I am in a lot of pain. I went to the dentist to have some repair work done on an old root canal. At one point the dentist irrigated the tooth and we found out that the root had a fracture in it that allowed the irrigation solution to be dumped directly on nerves in my jaw. I have never felt should burning and pain before. The tooth had to be pulled. So now I am hurting to the polnt where the pain meds don't stop the pain only dull it a bit.

Good thing I do not like to complain.
