I am now using a rooted Color Nook uppgraded to the 1.2 version of the software. I had to unrooted, do the upgrade, and rooted it again. It was not as easy as the first root, but not terribly difficult.
The past few weeks have been a little rough. Last Friday we were on our way to Brenham to attend Amanda Walace's highschool graduation when we got a call from Kelly telling us that Bryan's grandmother was not expected to survive thriught the day. As a matter of fact, she died eary the next morning. We made the graduation. 106 studnets graduated from Navasota Highschool. Amanda was number 5. You go go girl.
The next day there was a party for Amand at one of her uncle's house. Kelly and the boys drove up so that Anita could take the boys to their house. Bryan drove up from Austin and took Kelly back with him so that they could attend the funeral which was on Tuesday. I drove Mimi and Popa home.
On Tuesday I drove to Kelly and Bryan's house to pick up Anita. I put 448 mile on the van in one day.
Maybe things will slow down for awhile and we will not have so much saddness to deal with.
