Day 8 Yellowstone Expedition July 14, 2011

We decided that Bryan and Kelly should have some time to themselves.  So they headed off to hike Uncle Tom's Trail to the Lower Falls.  Anita and I rigged the boys fishing gear and taught them to cast.  They spent the morning casting all over the camp.  I spent a lot of my time getting fishing line out of the trees.
By the time that Bryan and Kelly returned, the boys were dying to go fishing.
Bryan and I took them to the Gibbon River.  We fished a beautiful stretch but without any luck.  So we drove a little further up river across from the soldier's museum.  We had a great time as did the fish.  They stayed in the water. One of the best things about the spot was the bison that was grazing near by.
Too soon it was time to go back to camp.  We had another fire, more marshmallows flamed into oblivion, and we called the day good.
