Tuesday, 14 July 2009 – Because we stayed up so late last night, we were a little slower getting started this morning. When we finally managed to get going, we had lunch at Blackbeard's Restaurant. Next we drove as far north on the Island as we could and parked. From there we hiked across the dunes to the beach. We spent a large part of the afternoon just walking the beach. The nice thing about this area of the Island as compared to the beaches closer to the center of town is that there are fewer people.
We spent the evening playing Spades.
