Christmas has come and gone and New Year's is not far behind. I have been off for a week ow and enjoying every bit of it. I have been basking in the feeling of a job well done. I made all A's in my three classes. Not bad for an old man who is also working full time.
We have had a good holiday so far. We all made out like bandits in the Christmas presents department. But more importantly, we had the chance to spend time with our families.
Dean is staying with us for a few days. I am guessing that we had a good time today because he said to Granny, "I wish we could stay in this day for ever." Part of what made this day so special is that we launch a model rocket. It was an idea suggested by Kelly and Bryan and it was a good one for Dean and me. I am now into my third generation of building and flying model rockets.
