It's Just Been the Same Old Same Old

Not much has gone on this past week. We did not work on Friday. We took the day off because it was a bad weather day. I also did not go to work on Thursday because I took Anita to the doctor. She spent too much time in the heat the other day. High temperature extremes always causes her to have breathing difficulties. So we went into Tyler to get a breathing treatment.

This heat has gone on way too long. I am suffering from Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). I know, it's suppose to happen in the winter. But being cooped up in the house because it's too hot to safely go outside has gotten me down lately. I just want to grab my camera and spent the day out in the woods.

We did have the grandsons stay with us the first of the month. We went with Popa to Purtis Creek State Park to see if we could catch a fish. They had such a fun time fishing in Yellowstone I had hope they could actually catch a fish. And Dean did. It was a nice size bass. He was excited.

The weather has dried up the creek to the point where there are only a few pools of water left. Those pools are drying up fast. I figured the pools of water would attract animals. I have been putting my trail cam down in the creek and getting some interesting shots. By the end of this week I think the water holes will be all be dried up. I have to come up with another idea where to find the animals.
