Another Paradox and a Happy Look to the Week End

Yesterday I went in for my annual physical. Everything appears to be just fine. Looks like I will be around a little longer.

The boss took me and Felicia Johnson out for lunch today. She bought Felicia's lunch to honor her for passing her teaching certification. She bought me lunch because, as she said, I do so much for her at school. It is easy when you have should a good boss.

Another three day weekend  coming up. And it will be a real break, there is no church Sunday. We freed ourselves so that we can commit ourselves to getting a good dose of Nordheim.

I came across a terrible paradox at work. An offender admitted to me that he is an alcoholic. He was recently caught with "jail house hooch" . He wants to go to AA for help. However, because his drinking gets him into trouble, his custody fall  belows the where he can attend AA. Because he can not attend AA , he gets into more trouble. This makes it even more difficult to attend AA. He ends up in a spiral that leads only downward. I am hoping  to end the cycle by putting him into a cognitive intervention class that is share of the work
