A Trip to Ft. Worth and Some Thoughts

Anita and I went to Cabbage Rose Quilting Saturday so that she couold get materials for a quilt she is working on. She wants to have it ready to quilt by the time we go to the Buffords next weekend. While we were out and about, we looked for Dean's birthday present. Being the frugal (cheap) people that we are, we kept looking in different stores trying to find just what Dean wanted at a price we were happy with. It turns out that we bought his gift in Tyler at the same store and at the same price we saw it at in Ft. Worth. Go figure, spent a dollar to save a dime.

Just as an aside, our GPS pronounces Ft. Worth as Feet Worth.

Sunday I went out and spent sometime with my camera. I was inspired by John Scalzi, "Writing: Find the Time or Don’t". I also went out to photograph the flowers that are blooming. I want to make a record of what flowers bloom when around the Farm to help know what is available to my bees. Also, I just like shooting pictures.

One more thought, to answer the age old question, "What came first, the chicken are the egg?", the obvious answer is, the egg. Dinosaurs laid eggs and they are the ancestors of birds. That's it, question answered. Now to handle that four color map problem.
