Labor Weekend update

We had great weekend. Tracie and Alan made it here about 2:00 Saturday morning. We started out Saturday by just sitting on the front porch and enjoying the cool weather. It was 64 degrees!

We had an awesome breakfast. Omelets, biscuits, homemade jelly, and homegrown honey. It was all too good.

We spent the day in Canton at First Monday. Everybody came home with some personal treasure. We ended up the evening by playing dominoes.

Sunday morning was even cooler, 59 degrees. We went in to Tyler for lunch at a Mongolian place whose name escapes me. But it was very good. We did a little shopping and went to see George Clooney in "The American". As they say, "If you see only one movie this year, don't see this one." It stunk. Slow paced plot with a lot of shots of Clooney driving.

We grilled steaks for supper and just visited the night away. Most of the time when we get together with the Nordhiems we spend our time eating and talking. Or maybe eating and talking while we do something else.

This morning Tracie and I did a hive inspection. We then had lunch at the Lockes. Soon after that the Nordheims went home.

Now it is time to get ready to go back to work.
