Testing Can Be Difficult

It's been a tough week. We started doing our TABE test this week. We didn't have classes one afternoon because they power was shut off for maintenance. One day we didn't have our students from bootcamp. Now there is a strong possibility the whole unit will be locked down next week.

My School Counseling practicum class meets once a month for four hours on Friday night and then for eight hours on Saturday. We had our first sessions this weekend. It went well. The only problem I had was that my left foot is swollen and hurts, a lot. I think I'm having another gout attack. Tomorrow I'm going to the doctor to have it checked out. I've never had gout swell up like this.

The weather has been warm the last few days. I haven't had any time to get out and enjoy it. A neighbor was giving away fig trees. Now we have about six tress to plant. If all of our plants start producing, we will have more fruit then we can possibly eat. We have apples, peaches, pears, blackberries, blueberries, grapes, cherries, strawberries, cherries, figs and bees.

Still about two weeks to go before scores are available. The scores will be posted by 5:00 pm on February 23.
