Late last night we had a thunderstorm came through. It was brief but intense. It dumped a bunch of rain and dropped some almost marble sized hail. But it the wind that caused the most problems. At one point I was almost sure we had a tornado coming in. But it all soon passed.
This morning we had to use 155 to get to work. CR 4225 was blocked by some downed trees. One of our neighbors lost their TV antenna and another had part of their shed blown across the road. Coming home this afternoon I saw lots of trees and branches blown down. There was also shingles and tin blown off some roofs. We lost a couple of trees but that was all.
Last Thursday I attended the ETBA meeting. It was good as it usually is. I dropped off my hives with Jeff Collins. In April I will get them back filed with the bees. Above is a picture of my hives. One is brand new and the other is my old hive sanded and repainted.
