Seth Asher Buford was born in Memorial Hermann City Hospital in Houston, Texas on February 12, 2008 at 8:05 am. He weighted in at 8 lbs. 1.7 ozs. and was 19" long. There were no complications and mother and son are both doing well.
We spent most of the morning at the hospital admiring the new baby. When Dean was watching Seth in the nursery and Seth did not have any clothes on, Dean said he needed Butt Paste. For those of you who are not familar with the nomencalture of baby care products, that's a diaper rash medicine. Later, when I asked Dean if he would like to trade Seth for one of the other babies, he said he was going to take Seth home.
We'll be back to visit later today. Kelly should get to come home Friday morning.
