The Same Old Thing

I can't say a lot has been going on lately, except for the same old things as usual. After the holidays I went back to work and every thing there was work as usual.

We had one tragedy on the Farm. Coffee , our cat for the past 11 - 12 years, had to be put down. Some critter chewed her up good. When we found her, she was pretty much gone. So now she sleeps on the edge of the woods looking out over the meadow.

I started my classes last Wednesday. I am taking Test and Measurements and Child and Adolescent Counseling. I am in class from 4:15 pm till 9:40 pm. Times have definitely changed. When I was in school before I took Educational Technology. We learned how to use film projectors, mimeograph machines, and overhead projectors. Now every body is sitting in class with laptops. The class notes are online. And you don't have to go to the library. Just fire up the old laptop and it's all available wherever you are. I like that a lot.

This weekend Leah held a baby shower for Kelly. I didn't go, but I heard that it was a big success. Kelly is scheduled to deliver on February 12, but the doctor says she doesn't think Kelly is going to make it that long. I have put the people at work on notice that I may leave at a moment's notice.

We got some snow Friday evening. It came down thick but there was no accumulation. Now, it's just cold, but the sun is shining. Have a good day.
